How can you get involved?

Click on the links below to see some of the projects we are developing and supporting.

Are you an educator? Are you interested in bringing together curriculum on civics, science, and the environment? Bring The Write2Know Project into your classroom. We are developing teaching kits for K-12 educators and university educators.

Are you interested in learning more about what people in particular communities know and how their knowledge differs from official accounts? POE is sponsoring a new focus group on local knowledges called the Local Knowledges Collaboratory. Please contact POE Steering Committee Member, Nicole Klenk for more information: nicole.klenk@utoronto.ca

Are you interested in the ways endocrine disruptors are affecting the health of our bodies, communities and environments? POE Steering Committee member Michelle Murphy is convening a SSHRC Funded Endocrine Distruptors Action Group to explore ways to lobby the current government to address the toxicity of Bisphenol A, Bisphenol S, and other compounds, which currently circulate widely through consumer products and through industrial waste.
